Buy One - Give One Event
This BOGO event is aimed at thanking those essential workers in our communities by giving them a gift matching what you've purchased at booking. I chose to do a BOGO because there's an inside joke in our house about it and the concept brings me joy: my partner, who's in his 50s, actually thought BOGO was a type of shoe, and when Lily explained that it stood for Buy One Get One, and that it happens at lots of types of stores other than shoe stores, he thought she was messing with him so he doubled down and argued it pretty strenuously. We had to ask the store clerk just to get it to stop *facepalm.
So, here's the BOGO:
Book a Family Portrait Session and add on any extras you'd like
I will MATCH your entire initial purchase and gift that to the essential worker of your choice.
Your session must be scheduled at the time of booking, and both sessions must be scheduled between June 2020 and Dec 31, 2020. Note, I am currently closed until May 10, but that may be extended depending on the local circumstances.
Family Portrait Sessions have a $150 session fee, which gets you a virtual consultation (for now), wardrobe, same-day turnaround, and a customized portrait experience. All artwork is purchased at the same-day Reveal and Ordering Session and comes with complimentary delivery and installation. Learn more about what to expect in the Welcome Guide, and view my heirloom products on the website.
You may purchase only the session, in which case your "Give One" will consist of that $150 value session fee, or you may pre-purchase a piece of heirloom art, or put down a pre-investment towards your future ordering session. It is common for my clients to put $500 or more towards their session as a way to start saving for that art they really want. No matter what you choose to do, your entire first invoice at booking will be matched. Want to book a session and pre-buy an album? Great! That meant you'll be giving a session and an album to an essential worker.
For the purposes of this promotion, an essential worker is limited to the following: 1) healthcare workers and first responders who are directly working with or around COVID-19 patients in Maine's hospitals, ER's, family doctor offices, etc.; 2) grade school teachers who are continuing to do wonderful things for your children; 3) grocery store and other food or pharmacy workers who are keeping us fed, medicated, and clean; and 4) delivery and transportation workers who are bringing us things and taking us places at great personal risk. If the given value isn't redeemed by booking a session that is completed prior to Dec 31, 2020, it may no longer be redeemed for its equivalent value. At no point may it be redeemed for cash, and it cannot be exchanged.
