Ashley and Farid have that kind of lighthearted love that involves a lot of joking, a lot of serious dancing, and a fierce passion for soccer. Ashley is an incredible player, and they both share their love for the sport by spending their time coaching kids teams. Listen, I’ve coached soccer before, it isn’t easy if you’re dealing with ages under high school. You know the worst? Coaching your own kids team full of 4 year old’s. That was possibly one of the dumbest decisions I’ve ever made. *laugh cry, but serious cry too*
Anyway, these two are a really incredible couple that are easy to be around, and easy to fall in love with. They had a line of guests waiting to say wonderful things about them, and some who traveled from around the globe! One of Ashley’s sisters said that Farid has to be right for Ashley and the family because he endured a whole year of planning this wedding. After checking out all of the beautiful details, I think you’ll agree that the entire event was a huge accomplishment for all involved!
The dock was built for the wedding, and it will forever be Ashley and Farid’s dock – how cool is that? They had a beautiful mix of colors including blush pink, sage greens, gold, navy blue, natural beige linen, and dark wood tones. I am a huge fan of mixing together a lot of different textures and colors, and the vision here is totally inspiration worthy!
They incorporated food trucks, an ice cream truck, a live band, bamboo plates, they involved their baby nephew and a whole host of kid nieces and nephews (seriously, though, the shots of the girls circling around Ashley is so sweet!), and – my favorite – they actually made their own wedding bands! With their hands and metal, they made them!
Talk about sentiment and a one-of-a-kind piece!
